Mphumuti Nkambule and his co-accused, were represented by attorney M.S Simelane who told Senior Magistrate David Khumalo that, “the accused persons were not carrying a gun but a toy gun on the day in question,” he said.
Magistrate Khumalo told Simelane that he must mind his words because what he was telling the court was that his clients did committed the crime, however, they were not carrying a genuine firearm but a toy gun.

Amongst the things the pair allegedly stole on the day in question are computers, CPUs and money in cash all amounting to about E63 00. Appearing for the crown was Nondumiso Zwane.
Arrested
Nkambule was arrested on Monday after being in the police wanted list for sometime. It was said that he and his accomplice tied up three security guards before breaking into the houses.
Late last year, Nkambule was arrested by the notorius Mbuleni community police after he allegedly sold stolen music equipment valued at E14 000 and a speaker valued at E1 500 to Khulekani Dlamini.
Nkambule was in 2008 stripped off the Mr Swaziland title for alleged misconduct and was replaced by Okwakhe Dlamini who is still reigning.
