The view, The people

Gun Free South Africa recently did interviews with people on the ground to find out their stand on gun ownership in general.

The questions were as follows:

What is your stand on Gun ownership?
Do you think a gun is a best instrument for self protection?
Do you think Gun violence has an impact on our economy?

Responds

Quite simply, I hate guns.
No, but I must admit sometimes when someone does something bad, you wish you had a gun to shoot the person.
I know it has an impact on people and their safety for sure. Look, which country does not have guns, so I cannot say I know of any impact it has on our economy. Yes obviously when people outside our country hear of gun violence, they are afraid to visit, so it does impact tourism in a way.

Personally I don’t like guns myself, but in the environment we living in it became a necessity…
I don’t think it the best instrument, because it can do more harm than good…
Definitely with all the gun violence overseas investors do not want to invest in an unstable country that cannot contain its own citizens.
