The materials encourage learners to explore alternatives to violence. We encourage communities to use and monitor the implementation of the Act, with a focus on removing guns from violent homes.  We recognise the importance of community organisations, as well as the police, having knowledge of the Firearms Contol Act, and having the ability to use the law.
